We woke up not too early, not too late, then washed up, packed and went down for breakfast. Breakfast was fun because we were chatting with a guy from Syria and one of the staff (the daughter of the family that owned and ran the guest house). A couple Aussie guys, who had caught the same time train as us but a day later, turned up then too and joined slightly. I think they were both to tired to actually speak though.
We got our stuff set and said our goodbyes, and walked down the hill into the main bit of town. We got to Grande Via Colon and caught the bus we needed over to the Estacion Autobus (bus station, go figure). It was cool because we got two seats on a bus leaving half an hour later, and arriving in Malaga only two hours after that.
The bus ride wasn´t bad. We spent the first 15 minutse chatting to the folks at home, and then we listened to music and I read some of my textbook I´d brought with me. The trip was only an hour and a half in the end, so it wasn´t all too bad.
When we got in to Malaga we found an info desk and tried to get directions. They were pretty much the same as the directions from the hostel site we booked on. Altough, turns out they were a bit ambiguous. We walked down to the street that it suggested, and then caught the bus that we were supposed to catch. We were meant to get off at a large church and then the hostel would be close by. Well, there were about 50 churches on the route we were taking.
We got off where we saw a road of the same name as the church, and apparently it was way too far down, or up. Who can really tell these days. Anyway, we spent about an hour walking, even getting directions from another tourist info place we passed (although they were no help at all). In the end we stopped into a video store and asked them. We left the store and hailed a taxi, and they took us to where our street supposedly was.
We found the place on the street and we checked in. Looked like a decent place, again with the family-owned guest house sort of feel to it. It was already 6pm and it was boiling still, so we kept inside in the room with couches and we used the internet. A few hours later we walked down to find a store, finding the church we were meant to see, on the way. We bought some pasta and sauce, and drinks, and headed back.
We cooked dinner and sat outside with people. By the time we headed back in it was sometime between 10 and 11. Em headed to bed, and I stayed up on the net for a bit before going myself.
