We slept in quite a bit (later than usual, if that was possible). All of us were feeling a bit under hungover, especially Emma considering the night she had before.
We stayed in most of the day, blogging and just relaxing. After a while Dani suggested we go out for a walk. We just walked down the street, across to another and then back, in a big triangle. We stopped in to buy food on the way.
That night we headed out to get dinner. We had wanted to do a nice Spanish paella one night and this seemed like a perfect opportunity to do it. We made our way to La Fonda, near Las Ramblas.
The place was obviously quite nice since there was a line going all the way out onto the street and down 20 meters or so. It seemed like there were a lot of tourists but also some actual Spaniards and Catalan folk.
The wait wasn´t too long in the end, since the person organising tables picked out groups that fit into the free ones. Being a three, and not a large group or just a couple, we got to jump ahead of others and we got a table upstairs. The service was very slow considering how it seemed they would need to try get people in and out at that place.
We all shared a three-person vegetarian paella, since they come in minimums of two people, so we couldn´t get a seafood one too. It was all right but nothing special. I think the paella we had at the restaurant in London might have been a tad better ;)
Afterwards we just made our way back to the hostel, to get some more sleep. It was already 11:30 by the time we were out of the restaurant and onto the metro.
