Monday 25/8 Still...in Barcelona, and a walking tour

Well, we got up early (like, 6:00) in order to pack and get out to the train station. Somehow we had all got it in our heads that we were leaving Monday morning. As we were packing I checked the reservation for our Valencia hotel, and turns out that we had forgotten we had booked an extra night in Barcelona! Well, I laughed and stopped the girls from packing more.

At least, I thought, we could make the free gothic walking tour that we had missed the day before. Cool. So, we had something to eat and headed out to TravelBar where we met up with people on the tour and left with the guides in three groups.

The tour pretty much covered most of what we had done the day before, but in an ordered and well-informed way. The guide was a clear Californian, and he was pretty good (not quite as great as the guides we had in Amsterdam, though). Even though he tried to joke about it, he was a bit to pushy with getting money from people at the end and even during the tour.

When the tour finished we ended up back at TravelBar where the guide bought us all a small beer. We sat and chatted with some of the people on the tour with us, and got some contacts for people going to Tomatina.

We had lunch at a fast-food pasta joint on Las Ramblas. It wasn´t as filling as I´d hoped. We were all very hungry.

My fast food pasta (ravioli of some sort)

We had another slow night, spent relaxing.
