Monday 30/6 Relaxing and doing errands

We had woken up a lot later than we had planned, and far too late, I thought, to get the west of the river stuff done. Instead, we thought it might be a good idea to get some important stuff done that we needed to get done. We got some breakfast downstairs at the hostel; not too bad.

We then set off to a good shopping area. We did some clothes shopping since we both wanted to replace a couple t-shirts and the such, and then hit up a supermarket and a pharmacy to replenish our dwindling supplies.

Around the area of the station was a series of large photo prints of nature things, mostly animals and insects. Simply amazing stuff. They were part of a campaign to raise awareness for global issues like poverty and protecting the planet. Each picture had a disturbing statistic attached to it, though completely unrelated to the subject matter of the photo.

We got lunch at a food court around the area, in a large shopping centre. I also picked up a copy of the final HP book so I could finish the series once and for all!

We spent the rest of the night doing blogs at the hostel.
