This was sleep-in day; a night of drinking and there being not too much to see in the city itself. Em got up and went for breakfast. I stayed asleep or in bed till about 10. That must be the latest we´ve slept in since...well, from the start of the trip maybe.
We only got out of the hostel around noon and headed into town, walking down the path we came the night before. In town went back to Place du Liberation and took some day photos. We went into a little tourist store and I got a shot glass.
We were quite hungry and found a kebab place. For a decent price we both got chicken kebabs (in focaccia) and a huge amount of fresh hot chips as well. I absolutely stuffed myself. The sauce on the kebab was mustard because we definitely couldn't leave Dijon without having some.
We attempted to find the owl again to take some photos but it was very hot and very humid, and we were resigned to trying to just waste the hours of the day away so we could get to the next and see Dani. So, we found ourselves a bus and headed back to the hostel. We spent most of the day streaming tv shows.
Around 7 I thought it was a good idea to see if there was dinner being served downstairs. There apparently was no dinner on a Sunday (hmmm?). We headed out for a quick walk to find food. There was a McDonalds 10 minutes down the road. We hadn't eaten there since Eilat (about 8-9 weeks ago, maybe?) so we thought it was okay. A bit of language troubles but we ordered two chicken burgers and made our way back.
We kept watching tv shows till 11 or so when we finally decided to sleep.
